5.0"Buying my car at Prestige MINI was a seamless, friendly, and really enjoyable experience. On my initial visit, I was interested in just checking out the interior space of the 2012 Countryman since I didn't know if it would suit my needs - turns out it was exactly what I needed/wanted. I was uncertain of a few options, and Steve Allen was right there to help. We went on a couple of test drives with different Countryman and I was sold. Back at the showroom ( which is fantasitic - complete with little "MINI"s for the kids to ride on and play with )Steve answered additional questions and actually found a MINI that had all the options and colors that I wanted. The unexpected was picking up the new car and having it unveiled in the front corner of the showroom - a nice touch! I've had my MINI now for a week and it's just a great car - I've already been back to Prestige - but not for any problem - but for their car wash! My oil change went smoothly, and the process to get the loaner vehicle was simple and easy. The only thing that I have anything to complain about, and it's not really a big deal is that after the service was completed no one reset the service interval indicator so it says service when I turn the car on all the time. bringing it back for them to reset the light. 1.5"Waited two hours for service on My 2012 S. The Harmon Kardon radio crackles and rattles with certain frequencies. I informed the workers that I heard it mostly on Sirius, because that is really all I listen to. Their solution was to turn off HD radio (what?) and see if that helps. If it doesn't, them come back and they will check it out. Funny, Sirius is Satillite radio, and HD radio is a terrestrial based radio. How in the world would turning off HD radio fix the problem? Now I have to make another appointment to get this sorted out. Great way to spend the beginning half of a Saturday." I couldn't think of anything more that could have been done and eventually, with the help of some BMW engineers, the problem was resolved. Throughout the process, Angel and Anthony were terrific and I was kept well informed as to what was being tried and the results. In the end, as a good will gesture, corporate provided me with a complete winter tire and wheel package which was totally unexpected. 5.0"A warranty repair for a broken timing chain was performed in April 2010. My Mini broke down ~1 month ago during a business trip near Bedford, NH. I was charged over $4,000 by Bedford Mini for a repair that should have been covered under warranty for this repair (2 years). My Mini needed to be returned for service within 1 day due to a related issue to this repair which Prestige performed at no charge. 3.0"Called Mini Ramsey to say I lost a key and I had purchased insurance for this event when I purchased car. Told to come in and bring paperwork. Did so. Parts had to order the key and said to call before I came back. Called and told key was in and come up with car so they could program it. Called and left two messages on voice mail of service dept. - no return call to make an appt. Finally went on line and made appt. When I got to Ramsey no one had record of my appt. or what I was there for. I started to get a little impatient when two hours had elapsed and no key. Receptionist was wonderful and more than courteous but she was also baffled as to how to get this key, who was going to pay for it, etc. She then told me that I was supposed to call the insurance company whose policy I purchased for key loss. No one ever told me this to begin with when I came in with the policy and they made a copy of my license and the policy.
